    How it works

    Club members receive four allocations of chocolate per year. Every quarter we'll ship (or hold for in-store pickup) a fresh selection of our newest and best flavors.

    Our chocolate makers will select the chocolate for each allocation, but club members can customize selections in a few ways (eg. only darks, only vegan-friendly).

    How do I choose in-store pickup? How do I customize my items?

    After signing up, we'll send you a short form asking for a few more details, such as an in-store pickup option or if you'd like to make any customizations.

    If you signed up and didn't get an email from us, no worries, just shoot us an email and we'll get your membership sorted out.

    How do I use my discount for non-club purchases?

    Depending on your membership level, you are entitled to a 10%, 15%, or 20% discount on all non-club purchases. To use your discount, at checkout enter the discount code associated with your membership level: Cadet, Chief Mate, or Captain. Just be sure to checkout with the email associated with your membership.

    How can I book a complimentary tour?

    You can book tours via our Visit page. You'll be charged ahead of time and when you come in for the tour, just let us know you're a membership customer and we'll issue a full refund for you and 3 of your guests.

    I got a new credit card — how do I update my billing information?

    Easy peasy, you can click this link to access the Billing Login. You will need to enter your email and then you'll be sent a magic link to the billing portal where you can update your membership information.

    Or if you'd prefer we take care of it, give us a call at (831) 824-4646 and we'll get everything fixed. For your security, please don't send your new credit card information to us via email.

    How does a gift membership work?

    First you’ll choose a membership level and pay for one full year. At the end of the year, we'll reach out to your friend, spouse, co-worker, wacky uncle, etc. and see if they want to continue. If not, the membership will expire.

    Can I include a gift note with my gift?

    Natürlich! (That’s German for ''of course!'') After checkout, you’ll recieve an email confirming your gift subscription. All you have to do is reply to that email with your gift note. From there, we’ll take that lovely note, print it on a lovely card, and include it in the first shipment.

    Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership level?

    Anytime! To do so, click this link to access the Billing Login. You will need to enter your email and then you'll be sent a magic link to the billing portal where you can upgrade or downgrade your membership.

    Can I cancel my subscription?

    You bet. You can click this link to access the Billing Login. You will need to enter your email and then you'll be sent a magic link to the billing portal where you can cancel your membership.

    After cancelation, your membership will not renew the following year. By default, you will receive your remaining shipments for the current year. And if you want to stop all shipments, no problem, just let us know.

    Current members can click below to access the billing portal and make updates to your membership. You can update your billing and shipping info, upgrade or downgrade to a new membership level, and see your billing history.
